JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -

The Johnson City Public Library's Tale to Tail program continues and now has openings for children in first through fifth grades.

Every Tuesday, starting at four o'clock in the afternoon, the children read to a trained listening dog to help improve confidence in their reading or just for the love of the animals.

The library says there are also openings in the READing Paws program, which meets Saturdays from 11:30 to 12:30.  The next READing Paws program is January 18th.

Both programs meet in the Storytime Room of the library.

To register for either program, call (423) 434-4458.
