2014: Paul Revere, the leader of the 1960s rock band Paul Revere and the Raiders, dies at age 76 in Garden Valley, Idaho, following a battle with cancer. The band, which often performed in three-cornered hats and other costumes harking back to the American Revolution, was best known for the hit songs "Kicks," "Hungry" and "Indian Reservation."
