2010: Singer-songwriter Teena Marie, whose success in R&B and soul earned her the nickname "Ivory Queen of Soul," dies of natural causes at the age of 54 in Pasadena, California. She was best known for such funk-infused 1980s hits as "I Need Your Lovin'" and "Lovergirl."
