A tip about sales of the synthetic drug 'gravel' led Sullivan County authorities to arrest two women and $8,000 worth of the drug.
Officers tell us they got the call about 2:00 a.m. Tuesday morning and followed a vehicle from Fall Creek Road to Childress Ferry Road.
They say they found Beverly Henson in the basement of a home there. She told authorities she was staying with her sister, Melissa Williams, at Sleep Inn on Airport Parkway.
Officers say they searched the room and found large quantities of gravel along with cash.
They say the street value of the drug was over $8,000.
Henson and Williams, both from Greene County, were arrested and are facing several drug charges.
