New Facts In ETSU Player Robbery Investigation

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - We've learned some new facts about the apartment where two ETSU basketball players reported they were tied up and robbed at gun point last week.

This is not the first time the apartment shared by players J.C. Ward and Sheldon Cooley has been broken into.

News Five WCYB obtained a copy of a police report from November 11th.

According to the report, J.C. Ward told police someone broke out the rear door of the apartment while the basketball team was at an away game.

Two NCAA championship rings and a watch were taken from desk in Ward's room and the rest of the room was ransacked according to police.

Earlier this week JC Ward and teammate Adam Sollazzo told officers they were robbed at gun point by two men.

Teammate Sheldon Cooley was later arrested for filing a false after claiming the men also stole money from him.

The investigation into both incidents is ongoing.
