JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. -

Town leaders in Jonesborough meet to discuss signage issues in downtown.

Several way finding signs have already been placed in the downtown area, But now, Jonesborough leaders say they need warning signs put up at the town's crosswalks. Currently, there are no crosswalk signs informing drivers they are required to stop for pedestrians.

At the meeting, the Jonesborough Board of Mayor and Aldermen passed resolutions for downtown signage. Mayor Kelly Wolfe tell us that he is hopeful this will address the communitys concerns.
