Norton police say 34-year-old John Quinton Jones died in a crash Thursday afternoon.
They say Jones was driving on Dorchester Road, when, they say, his SUV went off the side of the road.
Police say he over-corrected and caused the vehicle to flip twice. They say he was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
Sgt. Adams says he believes Jones would have survived the crash if he had buckled up.
He says they are still waiting on toxicology reports but speeding has been ruled out.
