With this week marking National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, we're reminded that hunger remains a big problem in America. Here's a look at the states where the most people go hungry.

With this week marking National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, we're reminded that hunger remains a big problem in America. Here's a look at the states where the most people are going hungry, according to a new report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service. These following states have "food insecurity" percentages (defined as low or very low food security) higher than the overall U.S. average of 14.3 percent.
