KINGSPORT, Tenn. -

There are new facts available on a case involving Eastman Chemical Company.

The U.S. Attorney's office says 48-year-old David Grigsby of Wise will serve one year and one day in federal prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release.

He was convicted of three counts of making false declarations before a federal grand jury.

Prosecutors say Grigsby lied when he denied collecting false samples of coal that were submitted to an independent testing service to defraud Eastman Chemical Company.
