KINGSPORT, Tenn. -

A man is facing charges after a Saturday morning convenience store robbery.

Kingsport Police say it happened around 2 a.m. at the Sunoco on Memorial Boulevard.

Police say 31-year-old Anthony Davidson walked into the store with a blanket over his head
and demanded money.

He was later arrested when police stopped his vehicle on Memorial Boulevard.

Davidson is charged with robbery, evading arrest, drug charges, and traffic violations.

Police say the stolen money has not yet been recovered.
