SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. -

Some local high school students had the chance to learn more about their choices for college today.

Sullivan East held its college fair this morning.

Representatives from ETSU, The University of Tennessee, Northeast State and others were there to talk with students about the options that are out there.

Students also had the chance to learn more about the Tennessee Promise program which offers students free tuition and fees for two years at a community college or college of applied technology.

Brandon Perry, a student at Sullivan East says, “It gives opportunities to kids to just figure out where they want to go and just figure what major, because most kids don't even know what they want to do with their life.”

Today was also a chance for participants to explore the different majors offered and how to start the student loan process.
