ROGERSVILLE, Tenn. -

One family in Hawkins County is without a home after a fire Wednesday afternoon.

The Hawkins County Sheriff's Office tell us the fire happened around 5:30 Wednesday afternoon.

According to the police report the home owner says he had a refrigerator plugged up on the back porch. The homeowner says he heard a popping sound and when he looked outside the home was on fire.

Sheriff Ronnie Lawson say two people were inside the home, neither of them were injured.    

We learned the home and two cars were a total loss.
