HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. -

Hawkins County Schools are continuing their search for a new director.

According to school board chairman Randy Collier, finalist Jim Ailshie withdrew his name from the running at last night's board meeting.

The employment committee will meet monday morning to go over Steve Starnes, who got the third most votes. The full board of education will meet monday night to consider him as the new director.

Starnes currently serves as assistant director of schools.
