BRISTOL, Tenn./Va. -

Little ghosts and goblins took home some sweet treats tonight.

Families brought children and pets in Halloween costumes to Downtown Bristol.

The "trunk and treat" car show is put on by the Appalachian Regional Antique Automobile Club of America.

The kids have a fun and safe way to celebrate the season… and the event also raises money for local non-profits.

Mary Ballard, president of St. Anne's PTO told us, "This is a win win situation for the school and for the community they bring canned goods we donate to charity and we also half of the raffle tonight goes to St. Anne's School and that really helps out.  It's a win win for the car club because it brought an audience it's a win win for the school."

The canned food will be donated to "Communities In The Schools In Southwest Virginia".
