Five people were arrested after authorities say they stole two John Deere mowers Friday morning.
It started with a report of the stolen mowers from Wise County and ended with a traffic stop in Weber City.
Wise County authorities reported the stolen two new John Deere riding mowers from Lowe's around midnight.
Weber City Police pulled over a car for a light violation and, they say, a truck hauling mowers matching the description from Wise County followed. Police believe those were the stolen mowers and they arrested the five.
Michael Lewis Ramsey of Knoxville is charged with possession of stolen property and driving on a suspended license.
Mark Bentley of McRoberts, Kentucky is charged with possession of stolen property and conspiracy.
Basil Bentley of Neon, Kentucky is charged with conspiracy and possession of burglary tools. Anne Lee Bentley, of Knoxville, is facing the same charges, as well as Jennifer Johanson of McRoberts, Kentucky.
All are in the Duffield Regional Jail without bail and are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
