Feds to help fire-ravaged states
Help is on the way to Colorado and 14 other states recovering from last year's devastating wildfires and storms.
The federal government is belatedly sending $67-million to help repair damaged streambeds that can cause flash flooding.
The aid was held up for months during the budget battles in Congress.
Last year's fires there scorched more than 200-thousand acres along the front range of the Rocky Mountains.
The interior department has also already given $500,000 dollars to Oklahoma to help repair damage from last month's tornadoes.
