Emory & Henry sees enrollment increase
Emory & Henry College is reporting an increase in enrollment this year, largely because of the fourth-largest entering class in the school's 175-year history.
The college says 322 new students registered for the fall semester, up from 280 for the fall of 2012. The 15 percent increase helped push overall enrollment to 959, up from 944 last year.
Students come from 23 states and seven countries, compared to 19 states and four countries last year.
Emory & Henry is a private liberal arts college affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
