Drunk woman gets stuck in car, calls 911
Woman's blood-alcohol level is nearly four times the legal limit
Drinking and getting behind the wheel of a vehicle is a dangerous, yet relatively common crime. But what about drinking and getting out from behind the wheel of a vehicle?
A woman in Billings, Mont. was recently charged with felony drunken driving after police say she called 911 and said she was too drunk to get out of her vehicle, reports The Associated Press.
Carol Frances Omeara, 55, called dispatchers, stating that she could not get out of her vehicle. When the dispatcher asked if she was having medical or mechanical issues, she said that she was too drunk.
Prosecutors say Omeara's blood-alcohol level was 0.311 percent. The legal limit in Montana is .08.
