JONESVILLE, Va. -

Lee County sheriff's deputies are working the streets today rounding up more than three dozen suspects.

Lee County Sheriff Gary Parsons tells us officers are trying to find 37 people who face a combined 99 criminal charges.

34 people have been arrested as of 10 p.m. on Friday night.

We're told the charges range from drug distribution to the manufacturing of meth.

Parsons says today's arrests follow a 12-month drug investigation that included several police departments.

The sheriff says the investigation is still active and this is only the first round of indictments.
