Nashville, Tenn. (AP) - The acting White House Drug Policy director is scheduled to be in Nashville Monday to talk about the dangers of people who drive while under the influence of drugs.

Many people already know the dangers of drunk driving, but Michael Botticelli, acting director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, is set to speak about the growing problem of drugged driving.

Botticelli is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the largest highway safety meeting in the nation. At the conference, the acting White House Drug Policy Director will share figures showing a high number of drugged drivers on the road and stress the need for public awareness of the problem.
