GREENEVILLE, Tenn. -

Thursday we could find out if the case against a teenager charged in connection with the murder of Robert Blanchard of Greeneville could move to adult court.

Law enforcement arrested the suspect and three other teenagers in South Carolina after the crime in April.

The State of Tennessee has until the end of Thursday to file a notice of transfer for Daniel Birchfield Richards, Jr., according to youth services officer Rhonda Craft.

If that happens, a hearing will be held to decide if Richards faces an adult charge of accessory after the fact and theft over $1,000.

Blanchard's son Zachary is charged with first degree murder. A separate hearing will determine if he heads to adult court.

The deadline passed for Liam Lawlor and Shelby Riley, the other two who are charged in connection to the case, so they will remain in the juvenile court system.
