Corrections officer pleads guilty to child porn charges

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. -

A former Sullivan County corrections officer has pleaded guilty to several child sex crimes.

Assistant District Attorney William Harper says detectives found child pornography on Randy Hass' phone and computer. He was fired in April of 2012.

Thursday he pleaded guilty to 27 counts of facilitation of sexual exploitation of a minor and to ten counts of official misconduct

Hass will go on the sex offender registry and faces up to 20 years in prison.
