It's been more than a wee bit exciting for parents at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center this week.
"Wee-Cycle It", a children's consignment sale kicked off some great deals for parents and their kids yesterday.
The event has clothes for newborns up to teens as well as toys, baby equipment, children's furniture, outdoor play toys, books, videos, and maternity clothing.
Wee-Cycle hopes to help parents by having low prices, because it can be hard to clothe growing kids when you don't have a growing budget.
"It's actually a tremendous help because if you are here you can buy sizes according to where your child is at and if you think they are going to hit a growth spurt soon you can go ahead and purchase and get a great deal on things rather than buying new and continuously going through sizes and spending more money," says Kayla Ball, a parent at the event.
Doors open at 9:am to 6pm on Friday, and from 9am to 6pm on Saturday. Select items will be half-price all day Saturday (items with "discount--yes" will be half-off).
Part of the proceeds go to Woodland Hills Christian Church Missions Team and unsold clothes will be given to the community and the event goes through this Saturday.
