JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -

A red SUV crashed into the front window of a BP Road Runner gas station in Johnson City.

According to Johnson City Police, it happened just after 12:00 Sunday afternoon at the corner of Allison Road and Bristol Highway. Officers say 39-year-old Monty Machen was the driver of the SUV.

Police say they found a small bag of pills, including Oxycodone and Xanax, along with a bag of what police believed to be crack cocaine.

Machen was charged with driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, simple possession of schedule IV narcotic, schedule II narcotic for resale and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

He's in the Sullivan County Detention Center.
