Award winning Halloween display
It is a spooktacular sight on Greiner Drive in Bristol, Tenn.
One house is covered in lights and decorations as the Eckley family, and their neighbors, get excited for Halloween.
The Eckley family is pulling out all the stops to make this year's Halloween show the biggest yet.
Ghouls, skeletons and zombies welcome neighbors to 104 Greiner Dr.
"I like the one that lifts up the gravestone," said Addison Coleman, a next door neighbor.
Addison is friends with Eckley's youngest daughter and the two of them put Addison's favorite skeleton together.
"His body came together but his arms weren't there so we had to figure out how to attach them and then we finally found out how to get the gravestone together," Addison said.
The gravestone-skeleton is one of the many new additions to the display this year.
"A few of the monsters, we did a couple more columns, and we have a singing skeleton which seems to be a big hit," said Brian Eckley.
Eckley even built the archway greeting visitors into the cemetery in July 2013.
He told us all of this was all inspired by one of his daughters four or five years ago.
"My daughter who was probably six at the time was upset because we weren't getting trick-or-treaters in the area," he said.
Eckley told us that hasn't been a problem since they started the project.
"We have some folks who walk in the neighborhood every night and they like to stop and see if we've added anything, if anything has changed from one night to the next," said Eckley.
"I like that little cemetery," said another neighborhood kid, Kyler Hunt.
Kyler has already been past this display at least four times this season.
"This is one of the best places with Halloween decorations in Bristol," he told us.
It took them about 20 hours to set up the display, said Brian Eckley.
Their project came in second last year in a contest held by the magazine Halloween Haven.
You can see the display between 7-10:30 p.m.
Eckley told us they will start taking it down at the end of the weekend.
