Attorneys needed to assist veterans and active duty troops
The Tennessee Bar Association is looking for attorneys to help the nation's veterans.
The Association says the law has several protections for those on active duty, including protection from lease terminations, mortgage actions and liens and reprieve from pending trials.
More than 37,000 Tennesseans, who are currently deployed, will be returning home in the next 17-months. Some will face legal issues such as foreclosure, bankruptcy and child custody.
The state's Bar Association says attorneys are needed to help with legal clinics, pro bono representation and to speak at military events.
