Arrests made in Kingsport construction theft

KINGSPORT, Tenn. -

Two arrests were made in a theft case out of Kingsport that happened more than two weeks ago.

On May 20, Kingsport police began an investigation into $100,000 worth of construction equipment stolen from Blair Excavating on Fort Henry Drive. Click here to read more details.

Police say during the investigation, they learned the equipment was possibly near the Kentucky-Virginia state line in a wooded area.

Adam Ely and Mark Mullins turned themselves in Thursday after the equipment was found in Lee County, Virginia.
