RUSSELL COUNTY, Va. -

UPDATE 11:11 a.m.: A missing Russell County boy is now safe with his family after deputies say he was abducted.

We're told he was found thanks to a tip from an alert citizen.

Russell County, Virginia sheriff's investigators say 11-year-old Lucas Ezra Silas Guinn was found around 8:30 Friday morning in Washington County, Virgnia on Industrial Park Road.

We've learned a citizen spotted the tractor-trailer that Jim Guinn was believed to be driving and called authorities.

Sheriff Fred Newman says his deputies stopped Guinn as he was trying to drive away in another vehicle after leaving the rig.

Lucas Guinn had last been seen at Lebanon Middle School on Wednesday. Deputies believe his father, Jim Guinn, took him Wednesday night.

Jim Guinn is facing charges of parental abduction and felony cruelty to a child while in his custody.

UPDATE 9:13 a.m. - Russell County Sheriff's Department officials say 11-year-old Lucas Ezra Silas Guinn has been found safe.

Russell County, Virginia sheriff's investigators say he was found during a traffic stop around 8:30 a.m. in Washington County, Virgnia.

We're told Jimmy Guinn was arrested. Officers are still working on the exact charges he will face.

An Amber Alert has been issued for an 11-year old boy from Russell County, Virginia who is believed to be in "extreme danger."

His name is Lucas Ezra Silas Guinn.  The Russell County  Sheriff's Office tells us he was last seen at Lebanon Middle School wearing a red and black shirt and blue jeans.

Deputies believe his father Jimmy Guinn took him last night. He is facing charges of parental abduction & felony cruelty to a child while in his custody.

We're told they may be traveling a 2004 purple Freightliner tractor with the tag number 78471PY.  Officers say it is possible that Guinn abandoned the Freightliner and is traveling in a large burgundy diesel pickup truck.
