Woman released after accident with tractor-trailer

We have new information about a crash we reported on Tuesday.

The Abingdon, Virginia woman who survived a crash has been released from the hospital.

Virginia State Police say a tractor-trailer took a curve too fast and overturned onto a Hyundai Santa Fe. It happened on State Route 91 just south of Glade Spring.

Authorities tell us that just six weeks earlier a guardrail was installed in the area where the accident happened, which police say saved the life of Courtney Berry, the car's driver.

Police tell us the driver of the truck, 43-year-old Donald Ray Bailey of Wise, Virginia,. will be charged with reckless driving.
