Woman dies in Kingsport accident

A Kingsport, Tennessee woman has died after police say she was hit by pickup truck.

Here's what we know -- police say it happened shortly before noon Monday on Fairview Avenue. They say Latrice Ormond got off a city bus and started to cross the street.

That's when police say the truck hit her.

We're told Ormond died at the hospital.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, but no charges are expected to be filed.
