Washington County, Tennessee school leaders are considering putting seat belts on school buses.

This comes two weeks after a school bus crash.

The school board met last night to discuss the change. News Five spoke with superintendent of schools Ron Dyke.

He says, while having seat belts sounds safer, it's not required in Tennessee. Seat belts have been brought up before, but school leaders said then it cost too much.

Several parents left concerned after the September 20th bus crash are pushing for them again.
