A 27-year-old man died Friday morning after an accident at a Greenbrier County, West Virginia coal mine.

It happened at the Pocahontas Mine A White Buck Portal, which is owned by Bristol-based Alpha Natural Resources.

State investigators say the miner was caught between a scoop and continuous mining machine.
