Now that Tennessee voters need to show a driver's license or voter ID with a photo, the Department of Safety and Homeland Security is trying to make it a little easier to get one.

The driver service center in Johnson City is offering special hours on two Saturdays before the election to issue the photo IDs. The first one is this Saturday, October 6. The next one is Saturday, November 3.

Both are from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

There is no charge for a voter ID.

In Virginia you do not need a photo ID, but you do need to bring identification.
