Virginia State Police investigate deadly crash

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Va. -

Virginia State Police are investigating what caused a deadly crash early Friday morning in Washington County, Virginia.

State Police dispatchers tell us 27-year-old Thomas Keith Watson, from Abingdon, died in the crash.

They say it happened around 3:00 Friday morning. Police believe Watson went over a hill on Lindell Road, just south of Route 740 in Meadowview.

They say there was only one car in the crash.
