RUSSELL COUNTY, Va. -

A hearing will be held Tuesday by VDOT in an effort to improve a busy Russell County road.

The Virginia Department of Transportation wants to give people an opportunity to review and discuss plans to reconstruct a section of Route 640, also known as Herman Puckett Road.

The meeting will be Tuesday from 5-7pm at Lebanon Middle School.

Citizens will be able to talk with VDOT representatives about the new safety projects for that road.
