UPDATE: Man killed in crash was Norfolk Southern Railway employee

GLADE SPRING, Virginia -

Authorities have confirmed that the truck driver killed in a train crash on Wednesday was a Norfolk Southern Railway employee.

The tractor trailer collided with the train around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday near the Glade Spring, Virginia town square.

Crews believe the man, whose identity is not yet been released, was working near the tracks.
