JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -

There's a celebration of unity in downtown Johnson City this weekend.

It's the 16th annual UMOJA Festival. Music from around the world will fill the stages set up downtown.

Organizers tell News 5 there's something for everyone. "It's Swahili for unity, is what UMOJA [means]. That's what we're trying to do is just unite everybody with music, with food," said Wayne Robertson, a UMOJA Festival Board Member.

UMOJA festivities will run throughout Friday evening and wrap up late Saturday night.
