Two overnight fires in Carter County

CARTER COUNTY, Tenn. -

Volunteer firefighters in Carter County spent Wednesday morning on the scene of two house fires in the Stoney Creek community.

The first fire was at a home on Price Road. Emergency Crews say the house was consumed by fire when firefighters arrived.

The second call was to a house on Lane Hill Road. It's believed that fire may have started in a back room of the house. No one was injured.

Investigators are expected to be back on both scenes Wednesday to look for causes.
