A federal grand jury has returned a four-count indictment after an arson incident in Jefferson National Forest.

Two men from Gate City, Virginia are facing charges: 26-year-old Jeremy Scalf and 24-year-old Christopher Sons.

The indictment alleges the men destroyed a metal gate when they pulled it out of the ground.

Scalf is also charged with setting fire to an information kiosk at the trail head of Little Stoney Falls.
