Three charged in Hawkins County murder
Hawkins County authorities have charged three people in connection with a murder that happened in March.
Sheriff Ronnie Lawson tells news five 27-year-old Christopher Varalli was shot and poisoned with cyanide at his home on George Allen Road in the Stanley Valley Community.
First degree murder charges have been placed against Randy Harr. He is also facing aggravated arson and aggravated burglary charges. Randy Harr is pictured at right.
Lisa Harr is accused of tampering with evidence and keeping an officer from apprehending another person. Lisa Harr is the victim's ex-wife.
"Randy and Lisa Harr are believed to have fled the state of Tennessee, and are on the east coast of the United States," Sheriff Ronnie Lawson told us. "We have asked the TBI to consider putting Randy Harr on their top 10 most wanted list." The TBI later put Harr on their top 10 most wanted list.
A third suspect, James Anthony Hall, is also accused of hindering officers from apprehending another person. He's currently jailed on unrelated probation violation charges in Sullivan County.
