A teenager is dead after drowning in Boone Lake.

Here are the facts from the Sullivan County Sheriff's Department -- emergency crews were called to the swimming area near the Boone Lake Dam around 1:30 Saturday afternoon. Officers say the 16-year-old victim was swimming beyond the roped off swimming area.

He was flown to the hospital where he died.

We've learned the victim is Marco Antonio Delgado of Morristown, Tennessee.

We've also learned crews were called back to the same swimming area a few hours later when a second swimmer was pulled from the water.

We're told that person recovered.
