DAMASCUS, Va. -

A suspected member of a Mexican drug cartel was arrested in a small town in Washington County, Virginia.

Police arrested Jose Luis Vidal Santillian while conducting a routine traffic stop in Damascus, Virginia.

Police say immigrations and customs agents informed them he was a wanted fugitive with fourteen warrants for his arrest.

Thursday morning, he is in The Southwest Regional Jail.
