We are working on a developing story for you out of Smyth County, Virginia. We've learned a fifth-grade student at Marion Intermediate School brought a BB gun to school.

Here are the latest facts from Mike Robinson of the Smyth County school system -- the student got the BB gun over the weekend and then brought it to school to show other students. We've learned the student has since been suspended.

We've also learned he will be getting disciplined through the school system.

A note has been sent to the parents of the children in the school.

Robinson says he does not believe any of the students were in danger.
