Store robbed in Washington County, Tennessee

Washington County, Tennessee authorities are investigating a robbery at a local business.

We're told it happened just before 11:00 Saturday night at Intimate Treasures on Kingsport Highway.

Officers say a man went into the store, took an item to the checkout counter, but handed the clerk a note demanding money.

Deputies say the suspect left store with the item, but no cash.    

Jerry Porter was arrested a short time later and charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest.
