GREENEVILLE, Tenn. -

A southwest Virginia woman, convicted of participating in an Oxycodone trafficking operation, will spend nearly three years behind bars.

25-year-old Victoria Bays, of Wise, Virginia, was sentenced to 33 months in prison in Greenville, Tennessee federal court today.

Bays was convicted of helping other co-defendants get Oxycodone and also laundered money from the sales of the drug.

Bays is one of 27 defendants, from four states, indicted and convicted in the conspiracy.
