Santa delivers gifts early
Santa started delivering a few gifts a little early on Christmas Eve at the Niswonger Children's Hospital in Johnson City.
He gave children, who were staying in the hospital, a little Christmas cheer.
Many children received snowballs from the North Pole and toys made in Santa's workshop.
Santa told News 5, he loves visiting the children because they are what Christmas is all about.
"It's the most incredible thing in the world to see the eyes of the children and how they just glow with a visit from Santa," said Santa.
We learned this is not the only visit Santa makes throughout the year.
Santa told News 5 he will continue to make stops at the hospital, even in the middle of summer just to bring smiles to the faces of the kids staying there.
