SUV hits bus head-on

GREENE COUNTY, Tenn. -

The Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed for us Friday morning that there was a head-on collision between a school bus and an SUV in Greene County.

They tell us 16 children were on the bus at the time but no one was injured.

It happened on DeBusk Road around 7:30 Wednesday morning near the parking lot of DeBusk Elementary. THP tells us 22-year-old Allison Bradshaw was driving a Dodge Durango and that she slid into the other lane around a curve.

They say she hit the bus head-on.

Bradshaw was cited for failure to exercise due care.
