An early morning fire destroys parts of a local family's home and now the American Red Cross needs  your help.

Flames tore through a home off of Highway 107 in Unicoi County just after 3 a.m. Friday.

We've learned the living room and kitchen suffered major damage, but no one was hurt.

The American Red Cross is currently helping the family of four. But the organization needs more volunteers to help when disasters like this one strike.
