SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. -

The Tennessee Department of Transportation is planning to public hearing Tuesday looking at the future of Highway 126.

The road is considered one of the deadliest in the Tri-Cities and has long been looked at for improvements.

But until now the project has never moved forward.

The state recently completed an environmental impact study looking at possible expansion of the road.
