A man spent his Christmas Eve in jail after police say they found drugs in his car during a traffic stop.
Johnson City police say Cody Duncan was pulled over after running a red light and nearly hitting a Johnson City Police car.
When the officers stopped him, they say they smelled something strong in his car.
After Duncan agreed to a search, police say they found over 150 grams of what they believe is marijuana.
He was taken to the Washington County Detention Center and is charged with possession of drugs for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia and other charges.
